It will be a round robin format so we have 6 games to get through on the day and you will get to play 3 games. It is 6-a-side. I am happy for you to bring extra players if you want to rotate the team each game.
It will run from 9.15am-12pm.

Rules:
• Countdown pairs
• Windball used
• 30 ball matches - 10 balls per batting per
• Everyone bowls 5 balls (overarm encouraged or underarm fine)
• 2 runs for wides and no balls (no re-bowls)
• +5 runs to fielding side for wickets
• Indoor rules in play – 1 run for hitting side walls, ceiling & WK wall (can also be caught off these). 4/6 for hitting back wall. 2 runs for completing a run.
I will be there on the day to main end umpire & will score on the Countdown Cricket App. When your team is fielding I will need a club/ parent volunteer to do square leg.
Games will be scored and results put on play cricket (for ECB stats) but there is no overall winner of the festival and I would like the focus to be on providing a fun morning of cricket where the girls can learn and develop their skills.
